We have some exciting news to share!

Lockerbie Old School have been working behind the scenes together with The Stove Network to find a local artist who will engage with the community through arts by exploring the themes of possibility, identity, and re-connection through the What We Do Now project.

A huge congratulations to Elizabeth (Betty) Stephenson who specialises in various textile works (her work is amazing by the way!) Previously, Betty has been collaborating with people on their vocational and creative goals via mental health support roles and community art projects over a period of 17 years so we are sure she will make a great asset to the local community.

“Making and mending things together can bring about new connections, ideas, and exciting projects. As part of the What We Do Now network, I’m really looking forward to learning from and contributing to the creative conversations unfolding in Lockerbie”.

More information will be posted shortly on this project but if you would like to find out sooner then come along to our weekly Lunch Club held every Tuesday at Lockerbie Town Hall between 11am-2pm where Betty will be on hand to meet with you and discuss this new and exciting venture!
