• Community Consultation Event, Wednesday 20th October 2-6pm.

Posted Tuesday, 12th October 2021

Join us and our Partners Cunninghame Housing Association Ltd to hear about our exciting plans for the old Dryfesdale School. The Lockerbie Old School are working on plans to provide Lockerbie and the surrounding area with a Community Wellbeing Centre on the site of the old Dryfesdale School. Working in partnership with Cunninghame Housing Association Ltd, the proposals will also allow for the delivery of 8 assisted living residential flats. The purpose of this Consultation Event is to discuss these proposed new plans in more detail.

The views of the local community and those living close to any new development are very important and are therefore invited to attend a community consultation event to be held in the Assembly Hall, Lockerbie Academy, Glasgow Road, Lockerbie, DG11 2AT on Wednesday 20th October between 2pm and 6pm.

As this is an informal event, feel free to drop in at any point during these times. The timing of this event is to allow as wide a representation as possible, particularly for those with working commitments.

Members of the Lockerbie Old School Committee, MAST (the project architects), Cunninghame Housing Association’s Chief Executive Officer, Frank Sweeney and members of the Association’s Development Services team will be in attendance and will answer any queries or comments you may have in respect of the plans.

Should you be unable to attend this event and wish to discuss any details of the proposed development with the Association or the Lockerbie Old School Committee, please do not hesitate to contact us HERE

We hope that you are in a position to come along and meet with us and we look forward to meeting you and hearing your views.

Before attending the event please check the Scottish Government rules on event attedance on their website.  Please check closer to the event date as we know that event attendance rules can be subject to change.
