The Lockerbie Old School Wellbeing Sessions provide a calm, nurturing space for children to explore their emotions, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills.
Designed for small groups of children from Primary 1 to Primary 7, these sessions are ideal for children who may benefit from additional support with emotional regulation, self-esteem, or focus.
These sessions are funded by Annandale and Nithsdale Community Benefit Company, administered by Foundation Scotland.

Child-friendly breathing and relaxation techniques
Yoga and mindful movement to promote focus and body awareness
Sound bath (TBC) or calming sensory experiences to encourage relaxation
Arts and crafts to support emotional expression
Sensory play for regulation and mindfulness through touch and texture
Children will also receive a home wellbeing pack that might include:
Simple breathing and grounding exercises to use before or after school

Mindful colouring sheets or affirmation cards
A small sensory item (e.g. fidget tool, worry stone, or lavender pouch)
Conversation prompts for families to support reflection at home
Sessions are friendly, inclusive and focused on helping children feel more settled, confident and emotionally aware.
Intended Outcomes:
